Abdirashid Salah

Abdirashid Salah is an independent consultant, social entrepreneur, CEO, and founder of ISIR Consulting, a dynamic management firm that uses global perspective, local understanding, and a diverse skill set to deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
Abdirashid had previously served in various significant roles within the Somali government. He held positions as a senior advisor to the prime minister, deputy permanent secretary at the prime minister's office, and program manager at the Mogadishu municipality. These experiences have shaped his expertise and paved the way for the establishment of ISIR Consulting. He has had a broad range of professional experience, including management positions in civil society & NGOs and consulting advisory services, playing an important role in addressing Somalia’s challenges through the delivery of humanitarian aid, institution building, recovery and sustainable development interventions. Abdirashid also brings a wealth of experience from the private sector and has founded several startups throughout his career. He holds a university degree in project management and planning and currently lives in Mogadishu. |

Martin Beale

Martin is a Company owner and Project Management expert, working and living in Mogadishu since Sept 2010. He has worked out of many locations throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East, specializing in Security Management, Networking, Logistics, IT, Construction & Maintenance and Procurement & Negotiation. He was in the UK British Army SF Reserve Forces for over 30 years, reaching the rank of SSgt. Martin has many years of consultancy experience, providing expert services for various companies in Mogadishu. His experienced support, ability to move about securely and his unique prominent local, regional and international connections enable him to be an efficient and effective on-the-ground asset for his clients.
In August 2012 Martin joined Pbi2, (www.pbi2.com). During his three years with the company, based in central Mogadishu, he oversaw secure accommodation and movement f+-or key individuals visiting to support the new government initiatives, which required liaising with all supporting agencies. He also provided security escort cover, business development consultancy, monitoring & evaluation services and capacity building for the Somali Federal Government. |

Edward Simuyu

Mr. Edward is the owner of Edge Consulting International. He is a PhD Candidate in Entrepreneurship at JKUAT, Kenya and holds a Masters of Arts (Development Practice) from the University of Wales & UK.
He is an expert in water and agricultural resource management, microfinance services, private sector development, small and medium enterprise development, education and training, health; well-developed skills in finance, entrepreneurship, budgeting, management, strategic planning, research, monitoring and evaluation and report writing. Edward possesses specialized expertise in business development services, sustainable development, applied research projects and project management. He has worked and traveled extensively throughout Africa, India, as well as the UK and the USA. Over the course of his career his writings have appeared in various prominent publications. Among others, Edward’s prestigious clients have included Heineken, World Bank and KCB bank. |

Chris Rosenkrans

Chris has worked in Africa for about a decade+ now, in Central and East Asia before that, and mapped Somalia and Yemen’s maritime and diaspora history which brought him west. He's experienced with Intel and counter Intel, consumer products and distributors in the region, the Sahara, and in the Equatorial Jungle. Tracking and training up human resources in Somalia and the Sahel, he recruits and trains long term teams/planted assets in HR, and supply chains to remote areas.
He also consults occasionally for communications and monitoring under the ocean surface and subsea strata. Project work has involved in the past, a focus on stability enabling effective transparent local markets for goods, internet access, and agriculture projects as per the UN SDG’s. His passions are for aerospace and aviation history, and the ocean floor. |

Ahmed Adam

Ahmed Adam is PR & Media consultant. Having over 10 years experiences working with both Kenya & Somalia in UN projects, international NGOs, media organizations. Well versed with strategic communication, media relation, media monitoring and crisis communication.
With a solid experience that spreads across journalism, development communication and public relations, Ahmed has worked with several organizations including the AU/UN IST, a United Nations contracted capability that provides comprehensive communications support to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) as media monitor based In Mogadishu. Ahmed holds MA Development Studies from the University Nairobi School of Journalism, and BA Communication studies specialized in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi (School of Journalism). |

Mohamed Isse

Mohamed played a vital role in the formation of an all-inclusive government of Somalia and his long years of public services in Somalia is like no other. He has worked with the special representative and forces commander of the African Union Troops in Somalia to coordinate strategy for peace keeping development and implementation. He has represented the African Union mission and proved to be indispensable in organizing, scheduling and managing schedules and resources while innovating successful projects.
During the civil war in Somalia, he worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross as a senior field officer in the relief and logistics department. When the United Nations operation UNOSOM was launched in Somalia in April 1992, Mohamed was the national officer for the mission responsible for all Somali affairs and also facilitated communications between the Forces Command and representatives of various Somali groups. An experienced administrative manager, having worked for institutions such as CONOCO and AMOCO Petroleum, IGAD as well as the office of the Ministry of Information for the Somali Transitional National Government. He holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Bristol (ME). |
