Our team helped distribute 10 tons of high-energy food supplies to a drought-affected internally displaced people in (IDP) camps, scattered across Mogadishu. On their first trip they found out that only about 30% of the people have access to clean drinking water. They visited a school in Mogadishu that educates 1,200 kids from all ages every day, that have no clean drinking water. Once back in the US, they research what kind of water filter system could work best for this school in Somalia, so these kids have clean drinking water every day.
