ISIR Consulting is carrying out conflict-sensitive initiatives assessment designed to address acute water fragility and other drivers of conflict in central Somalia.
The assessment will focus on the complexities of nomadic pastoralist systems and the specific needs of pastoral communities. Among other priorities, to address and support appropriate reforms of regulations and land tenure rights relating to access to pasture land and water for communities, especially nomadic pastoralists and to support the development of systems that ensure emergency access for pastoralists to water and pasture (or fodder) during droughts.  One step at a time: Government of Somalia, donor partners & UN approve 2018-2022 Joint Programs on Local Governance, delivering vital services to Somali people.
Our team helped distribute 10 tons of high-energy food supplies to a drought-affected internally displaced people in (IDP) camps, scattered across Mogadishu. ISIR Consulting provides coordination and information management to support operational decision-making and improve the predictability, timeliness and efficiency of the humanitarian emergency response across Somalia. Warzone Initiatives, former Arc Solutions. Two brave friends leave for war troubled Somalia to find out what they can give to the people of Somalia. On their first trip they found out that only about 30% of the people have access to clean drinking water. They visited a school in Mogadishu that educates 1,200 kids from all ages every day, that have no clean drinking water. Once back in the US, they research what kind of water filter system could work best for this school in Somalia, so these kids have clean drinking water every day. On their 2nd trip to Mogadishu, they return with a Gravity Water Filter System and install it in just a few days.  Welcome to the brand new Isir Consulting website.
